Windows x64 · v0.1.0

The wallet is real. The network it talks to is not.

This build holds keys and prints them. It has nothing to synchronise against yet, and it is not signed, so the hash below is the only thing standing between you and a file you should not run.

The button downloads the archive directly from the release, without a detour through a GitHub page.

02Verification

Check it before you run it.

Open Command Prompt in the folder that holds the zip and run:

certutil -hashfile plenum-win-x64.zip SHA256

You should get exactly this line:

9fa75ce4dedfb5c6072dd3651633b6bd38eca6c340c3ff78682777fe4ab2f18e

If it differs by one character, delete the file. The same value is printed in the release notes, in CHANGELOG.md, in WALLET.md and in the repository README — four independent places, so a page that has drifted is easy to spot.

PowerShell equivalent: Get-FileHash .\plenum-win-x64.zip -Algorithm SHA256.

03Honest limits

What this build will not do.

  • It will not show a balance or a transaction history — there is no chain.
  • It will not send coins, because there is nowhere to send them and nothing to pay a fee with.
  • It will not connect to a peer. Opening the network settings and finding nothing is expected.
  • It is not an investment product, and holding keys in it does not represent a claim on anything.

Back up the keys yourself. The wallet prints them; write them down on paper. A build without a network cannot help you recover anything, and there is no support desk to ask.
